Humanware, together with Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna, has developed a robot for neurological rehabilitation called MOTORE (MObile roboT for upper limb neurOrtho REhabilitation). It is a small portable robot which can move on wheels on top of a desk. It is designed for making rehabilitation interactive, easy and fun. It senses the force exerted by the patient and can react to it, assisting the patient when needed. It is a haptic robot which helps both patients and occupational therapists.
